Beginning Beekeeping Course Materials at Cost

Each household and community partner organization that registers for the DC Beekeepers Alliance-UDC Extension Beginning Beekeeping Course receives a single full set of course materials. We can offer additional materials at cost to those already registered. These include:

• The Beekeepers Handbook: 5th Edition
• A Field Guide to Honey Bees and Their Maladies
• Digital Subscription to 2 Million Blossoms
• Hard copy subscription to Beekeeping: Your First Three Years
• Catalogs from beekeeping suppliers
• Online (non-public) archive containing presentations, homework assignments, forms, supplementary materials, and sample documents.

We offer these materials below cost to encourage students to complete the readings and the homework assignments: the triad of listening, reading, and repeating assures maximum understanding and retention.
Should you wish to order additional sets of materials, we ask that you order by January 7, 2022 in order to benefit from the group discount.
