The DC Beekeepers Alliance was officially founded in 2012, when beekeeping became more widely legalized in DC. Its members, however, include many who mananged colonies in DC and surrounding areas for a decade ot more. We are a 501(c)3 educational membership-supported non-profit operating under the Center for Urban Bee Research.
Our community welcomes beekeepers (and wanna-bees) in Washington, DC.
